And what a success it was….

4 backs.....   The weekend workshops held on 23rd and 24th November were a great success, feedback has been very encouraging. We had approximately 20 people drawing and a total of 7 models, some doing the 2 days, some doing half a day. It is hoped to run another series of workshops in the Spring, if you would like to kept informed of the new dates please e-mail

….models booked so far

The project is almost complete, we can confirm most of the models, and they include Ken Phillips from Yorkshire, a male who has an interest in body decoration, Isabella from Bristol, an ex-Dartington student who specialises in movement, Caroline from Harbourneford who recently completed a foundation degree at South Devon College where one of her modules looked at the aesthetics of Life Drawing, Cyndi from Plymouth, who has been modelling for 9 years and Julia Finzel, photographer and artist. We may of course add other models nearer the time…….

Two days of contemporary life drawing……..

Just a reminder that both days of our workshop will be totally different, models will rotate and change throughout the weekend. We can promise different, contemporary and above all, stimulating life drawing with the emphasis on new and innovative.

For example, the “experimental” room will consider the relationship between artist and model, through exercises, prompts, explorations and lateral thinking. A previous project used music, hats and a large metal structure to inform poses, this time it could be physical exercise, a climbing frame and dance. But then it might be something completely different. We like to make our projects unique and in so doing create an exploratory landscape for artists to experiment in….

No more crowdfunding….
